Edmonton, Canada lies within the confines of Alberta. This city was founded sometime during 1795.

 

The Cree and Blackfoot Indians once lived in Edmonton. Fort Edmundton was constructed in the Edmonton area.

 

John Rowand came to the Edmonton during 1804. The Klondike Gold Rush occurred during 1897. The High Level Rail Bridge was constructed sometime during 1913.

 

Edmonton, Canada celebrates Edmonton International Fringe Festival, Jazz City International Music Festival, Klondike Days Festival, the International Street Performers Festival, the Folk Festival, Heritage Days and the Dragon Boat Festival.
