Design Group's client is a leading global engineering and construction services company. They have a rare opportunity for a Senior Manager of Business Development to join their dynamic team. 

 

The Senior Manager Business Development will coordinate and lead the sales effort in process plants (refineries, petrochemical, chemical and alternative fuels facilities). The role will include identifying prospects, planning for strategic accounts, direct selling, managing relationships, developing proposal strategies, overseeing the proposal preparation process, and leading the contract negotiation process.

Minimum of twelve years of experience with a proven track record in business development in facilities sales; direct construction sales experience is a plus.

Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline. An MBA is a plus, but is not mandatory.
Strong personal values and professional ethics.
Strong working knowledge of industrial process operations and construction within.
Ability and desire to identify the true decision makers in client organizations and initiate and maintain meaningful contact with them.
Respected within the industry as a knowledgeable, diligent professional.
Capability to put the company in the 'end zone' with key opportunities.
Skill and ability to collaborate across multi-business lines and thrive in a matrix organization.
